Financial Giving and Rotary

For over 90 years, The Escondido Rotary Club has been a leader in our community. This leadership comes in the form of hands-on service and financial giving from our members.

As a reminder, the Object of Rotary is to encourage and foster the ideal of service as a basis of worthy enterprise and, in particular, to encourage and foster:

  • FIRST: The development of acquaintance as an opportunity for service;
  • SECOND: High ethical standards in business and professions; the recognition of the worthiness of all useful occupations; and the dignifying of each Rotarian’s occupation as an opportunity to serve society;
  • THIRD: The application of the ideal of service in each Rotarian’s personal, business, and community life;
  • FOURTH: The advancement of international understanding, goodwill, and peace through a world fellowship of business and professional persons united in the ideal of service.

Financial giving has always been a key responsibility of membership in our club. Each Rotarian is expected to give $75 directly to our Escondido Rotary Foundation and purchase at least one $125 ticket to our signature fundraiser, Coeur De Cuisine – for a total minimum annual donation of $200.

For your $200 donation, you are entitled to one ticket to Coeur De Cuisine, with the stipulation that the ticket is not transferable to any Escondido Rotary Club Rotarian. If you choose to become a sponsor, you will be granted a $125 credit toward your sponsorship level.

Each one of us has a responsibility to contribute both service and financial support; to ensure that our Club continues to be a leader in Escondido, in San Diego County and around the world.

Thank you for your service and financial support.
