Celebrating 100 Years of Service: The Rotary Club of Escondido’s Centennial

In 2024, the Rotary Club of Escondido marks a monumental milestone: 100 years of service, leadership, and community impact. Founded in 1924, our club has consistently supported Escondido’s growth and vitality through projects that build civic pride, empower youth, honor veterans, and strengthen our community. As we reflect on the past century, we’re also focused on shaping the future through new initiatives and commemorative projects.

To celebrate this centennial, we’ve chosen to honor our community in several meaningful ways. Alongside our centennial celebration, we’re excited to give back to Escondido by providing a significant gift to the city, further enhancing the community we love. Additionally, our members have committed to 100 acts of service this year, pairing each grant we award with hands-on service opportunities that allow us to work alongside our community partners and make a tangible difference.

We’re also thrilled to share a unique piece of Rotary history. Our centennial publication captures 50 years of our club’s journey, documenting the projects, people, and values that have defined Rotary in Escondido. This publication serves as a tribute to our past while inspiring future Rotarians to carry forward the legacy of ‘Service Above Self.’
