Becoming a Rotarian

Rotary International includes over 1.3M business and professional leaders in nearly 33,000 local clubs worldwide who adhere to high ethical standards and the ideal of service to community. Rotary's motto is “Service Above Self.”  If you BELIEVE that community involvement is an essential element of life, you may be a candidate for membership in the Rotary Club of Escondido

We have provided service and leadership in the Escondido community since 1924. Our club, comprised of more than 100 members, provides opportunities to connect like minded business leaders, professional leaders, and civic leaders toward a common goal; improving the community where we work and live – and the rest of the world.

Our members will tell you that the primary reasons for joining Rotary are:

  • Participation in significant community and international projects
  • Fun, informative, and educational meetings
  • A chance to discover the "pulse of the city"
  • Interaction with influential business and community leaders
  • Friendship, fellowship and an expanded social network

Meeting Location

The general meeting is Noon every Tuesday at The California Center for the Arts, 340 North Escondido Boulevard (map).
